This applies to in-person as well as skype and phone sessions. For your information, health insurance companies usually do not reimburse for missed therapy sessions. A. We are not in-network with any insurance provider. Therefore you are financially responsible for therapy sessions. However, a lot of people do have out of network benefits and are entitled to some form of reimbursement ranging from 40% to 80%. You might want to check with your health insurance if you have out of network coverage, and what your benefits are. We can provide a statement at the end of each month that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement according to your benefits.
A. Best to discuss this with your therapist in person, but usually by phone or email. If you call and nobody is available at the time of your call, leave your name, phone number and some good times to reach you.
